Actress, singer, and sex symbol Brigitte Bardot turns 80 today and in celebration of the French blond bombshell's Birthday we are featuring her in our Women of Style edition. Brigitte, who is known for her effortless style once became the official face of France's national emblem in 1969 and is a famed animal rights activist. Her role in 1956 film And God Created Woman established her as a sex symbol for her generation. She went on to have her own show which gave her the platform to perform her hit songs in musicals like "Bonnie and Clyde." Although Miss Bardot hasn't been on the film and music scene for 40 years, we can still get inspiration from her iconic style.

Olivia Palermo has been hitting up London Fashion Week in style wearing a gray knit sweater, leather pencil skirt and studded moto jacket. All eyes were on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the Moroccanoil "Inspired by Women" Campaign celebration wearing a plunging white blazer and black trousers both by Versus Versace.
New York Fashion Week has come to an end but there was no lack of stylish stars sitting front row at some of the major runway shows. Rihanna took in several shows this week but the one that stood out the most was her appearance at Adam Selman. Jessica Lowndes hit up the Houghton show looking tres chic in a crop top and wide leg trousers. The always fashionable Sarah Jessica Parker showed up at Lexus Design Disrupted wearing a colorful dress by Preen and SJP Collection metallic silver pumps. Dakota Fanning wore head to toe Rodarte while sitting front row at his Spring/Summer show.
I only have two words for day 7 of NYFW, Betsey Johnson! We can always count on Betsey to bring the fun and funky fashions and of course she never disappoints. This go round, she is trying to promote her bridal collection so her theme was Prenup in which she showcased avant garde wedding looks with drag queens as some of the models. Not everything was over the top, there were some wearable looks in the collection which included a studding white pantsuit with embellished buttons and a whimsy lace pink dress. No Betsey show is complete without her signature cartwheel, which she gave us and much more. Truly the most entertaining show yet!
Two red carpet darlings stole the scene yesterday at NYFW. Naeem Khan and Oscar De La Renta both had amazing runway shows. Naeem Khan gave us sporty chic with a sparkle sending out sequin sweatpants and T-shirts. There was something for everybody in his collection from the relaxed fashionista to the dazzled darling. Oscar De La Renta is a fashion fave because he knows how to impeccably dress a woman and make her feel her most beautiful. There was no lack of his to die for red carpet gowns but he also gave us gingham goodness making coats and two piece sets in the print.
