The Belgian born American fashion designer is also the President of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and is listed as the 68th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. Diane is inviting cameras into her fashion empire to find a new brand ambassador. House of DVF airs this Sunday, November 2 at 10:00pm on E!
Actress, singer, and sex symbol Brigitte Bardot turns 80 today and in celebration of the French blond bombshell's Birthday we are featuring her in our Women of Style edition. Brigitte, who is known for her effortless style once became the official face of France's national emblem in 1969 and is a famed animal rights activist. Her role in 1956 film And God Created Woman established her as a sex symbol for her generation. She went on to have her own show which gave her the platform to perform her hit songs in musicals like "Bonnie and Clyde." In honor of her birthday today, we are featuring Coco Chanel in our women of style edition. Born Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, Coco Chanel was a french designer and creator of the iconic Chanel brand. She is the only fashion designer listed on Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. With her timeless and classic approach to fashion including tweed suits and plenty of pearls, she is fashion's greatest icon to date. Coco Chanel took fashion to another level during her time and still today her pieces are the most sought after designs. Every girl wants to own a Chanel bag. It says classy, prestige, "I've arrived!"
