New York Fashion Week has come to a close and now it's on to London. New York left us with some fabulous trends that we can't wait to wear and here are our top three. We can't resist a good fringe piece because it makes us feel feminine and sexy at the same time. We saw everything from sophisticated fringe at Erin Fetherston and Jenny Packham to sultry fringe at Michael Kors and Marchesa. When the weather gets chilly a good oversized sweater is a must and everyone from Victoria Beckham to Tory Burch showed us oversize everything including chic sweaters and collared blouses. We expect muted earthy tone colors for Fall and Winter but to our surprise we got gorgeous jewel tones in pink, green and blue hues at Delpozo, Naeem Khan, and Oscar de la Renta. According to Pantone (fashion's color institute) two of the top colors for the Fall/Winter 16 season are sharkskin gray and aurora red. Shades of grays seem to always be in season this time of year but we saw it all over the runways in different hues from outerwear at Marissa Web to shimmering silk at Nicholas K. The Fall/Winter season also opens up an array of reds from burgundy to scarlet. We saw it all over Christian Siriano's collection from the lips to the feet. Derek Lam showed us lush velvet in aurora red and subtle lace pieces swayed down the runways at Louis Vuitton and Moschino.
